Café & Gallery
Built to enhance SWDC and provide further training and employment in vocational skills, our cafe and gallery offers a relaxing environment to our employees and visitors. Opened on the 2nd of November, 2004 it is slowly supporting the increase in our visitors, assisting in showcasing the mekong blue product, enhancing sales and gaining a reputation for one of the best eating places in Stung Treng. The Cafe and Gallery also offers an attractive environment to receive potential buyers and groups interested in our SWDC project.
As Stung Treng develops it tourism and transport, this facility has the potential to attract more visitors to SWDC, increase income for the project and provide the potential need to further develop training and employment opportunities in hospitality and retail service.
Currently our Cafe holds many functions and our full time manger and cook has gained a reputation as an excellent cook in traditional and modern food, heading catering teams, and training casual staff.
Our Gallery showcases mekong blue products. A visit to SWDC provides an opportunity to see the process of mekong blue production from beginning to end and provides a space for the women involved in mekong blue production to see their collective skill and talent on display.
